These are all problems facing this country.

Our Honorable US Senate had a highly marketed All Night Session.

There were cots to sleep on and reports of pizza being orderd.

How exciting! It sounds like college all over again.

Now that the show is over, What can we really do to Change Course in this Country?

Is this right? At current consumption of oil and with current estimates of oil reserves, we have 44 years left.

Smog from automobile exhaust is more and more understood to be killing us.

The exhaust is known to shorten our lives and even to give us cancer.

And in Los Angeles City and County...the heaviest polluters...after the ports...are the heavy deisel vehicles operated by the Los Angeles Unified School District, the Los Angeles City /County Fire Departments, and the Los Angeles County Sherrifs Department.

Do you think it is time for the govt to clean up its diesel mess.....

Hot Lanes are coming to California. The Los Angeles MTA (read Los Angeles County Supervisors) will see to it.

The carpool lane is the last incentive remaining for carpooling.

HOT lanes stand for High Occupancy Toll roads. But to make room for the cars paying tolls, they need to kick out the carpools with 2 people in them.... most carpools....

Way to go MTA.

On Aug 22,2007 the State of California put forth their press release related to the Western Climate Initiative Statement of Regional Goal.

Besides the lies and coverup that the Initiative allows for. They still tout that we will get to 75% reductions by 2050.

The politicians are not doing much to help us reduce our use of fossil fuels. Suggesting alternative fuels that actually burn more oil energy than the alternative produces.

There are no initiatives to reduce the rate at which we burn the remaining oil.

You shall see how that might actually get us to 80% reductions by 2032
