The Hamilton County Department of Environmental Services has issued a SMOG ALERT for the southwestern Ohio area including Cincinnati. Weather conditions indicate particulate and ozone levels will be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups to Unhealthy range with an air quality index of 125 or greater.

Ride the Bus (Metro 621-4455 Tank 331-tank) Rideshare or Van Pool (241-ride) Walk, bike, or rollerblade on short trips.

Properly maintain your vehicle.

Use gasoline-powered lawn equipment after 6 p.m.

Refuel after 6 p.m. and don't top off.

Conserve electricity, turn up the thermostat, turn off unused light, computers, TVs, and radios.
